Cats eat grass on purpose to balence their diet and make the selves toss their cookies when they eat something they can't digest.

Water is filtered, Bacteria is usually lft behind, dirt and silt also, some chemicals can follow water over depending on the "evaporation point" Salt will always stay behind! Yeah! Distill water is also a rather strong solvent! It wants to collect any lose minerals and such after distillation! So, keep you distilled water from distiller to mouth CLEAN!

Similar to the survival method of getting water out of the ground. A trick from special forces training.
Dig a deep hole until you reach moist earth. Suspend a pot or collection device centrally towards the rim of the hole. Take some hot rocks from your fire, put them in the bottom of the hole. Cover the hole with plastic sheet and put a small stone in the centre inline with the pot. The condensation will run down the plastic sheet and drip into the pot. Drinkable water. Works best at night when ambient temp is lower.

Distilled water is drinkable. It is the best water for you. Obviously this is not the best way to make it, but this water is much better for you than tap water.
