Chicago patent attorney Rich Beem talks about one of his favorite types of cases to take – a case with a niche company.
A niche company – or niche technology – means that a very small number of people even know how to work or explain the technology to someone outside of that industry. We help explain that information in plain English to a judge or jury and also use simple exhibits to show the point. With a niche company you have to stay very competitive and a patent can be a very useful tool to keep that edge. By establishing that patent you will gain the exclusive right to that technology for twenty years from the filing date of the patent application. Your patents are an exclusive part of who you are as a company and it needs to be protected. Watch the video to learn more.
