Meet Mike and Diane Howard. Mike (Matt Letscher) is an IBM computer repairman. Mike brings home a Betamax VCR as a surprise. But his wife Diane (Sarah Joy Brown) is not happy. She works as an ICU nurse and is pregnant with their first child. Saving every penny for the baby and a new home is all she is interested in at this time.NOTE: A scene was deleted from the movie that shows Mike fixing a payroll computer that a woman had thrown up on. The business owner was real life appliance king Steve Mizerany who owned the New Deal chain of stores in St. Louis.     Sarah and Matt have Great chemistry and do a Great job in this film! :) It's so funny to remember back when the first VCRs came out! They were so HUGE and Expensive! It was exciting to think you could record your shows and sad now to think that that technology is going to the wayside like the 8 tracks, etc. :)
