  I believe it was 27-29 dead. Just under 30. Terrible accident. I remember that. There's more footage and I've been looking for years. It was the Italian national team. I think they are called (and don't quote me) Frecce Tricolori.
  It is nice to have jets flying at you, but regulations in my country do not allow for such maneuvers where the aircraft can be flung into an audience during an airshow.
