A clip of Yuan Wenqing from the mid 80's. Wushu is the martial art that Jet Li does. Wushu currently is in 80 + countries and is trying to get in as a sport for the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

yuan wen ting is really good!!! i've seen him once in Rome on the world championships, when he jumps its like a bird taking off for flight... he defies gravity ! :-)

  kung fu is a part of wushu.
  
  wushu is one of the oldest martialarts in china, and there r many styles coming from wushu. kungfu is only one style, but for europeans and americans it is easier to spell and say... no one would know about wushu without jet li i reckon.

- this is a very misunderstanding
  wushu forms may not be arranged for real fighting in the sequense shown ... but take little combinations of these techniques appart and you can use them as no other techniques ! but you have to find a teacher to teach you properly ;-)
