By huddzzii 1185265890 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe 'net send' DOS command is very powerful. Combining it with a batch file makes it more user friendly. 'Net Send' sends messages to other computers in a network, and can even be used to send messages to computers outside of networks by sending messages to an IP. Because of this, Microsoft disabled it in 'Service Pack 2', but you can enable it by going to 'Run' under the Start menu, typing in 'services.msc', and pressing 'OK'. Then, scroll down the list of services until you find 'Messenger'. Right click and press 'Start'. Now you're ready to go.

says the alias could not be found on the network.
I have 2 computers hooked up to the same internet connection. I cant get a message to come up on my desktop from my laptop. It tells me that it couldn't find the computer. Both computers have there messengers on also. Help
open the command prompter and type "net name" to get the name of computers in you local network then use the computer name to send messages to ppl in your network
