Thank you. This is just a video clip. Someone happened to catch a tornado as it was coming to be, thought it was completely astounding, and wanted to share it with everyone.

Coming from a self-proclaimed "Bible-thumper," this is just a video clip. It's not some evangelical tool, so people need to quit trying to turn it into one.

Nothing, and no one, in this video clip mentioned anything about God. They didn't say "GOD DID NOT CREATE THIS TORNADO OMGBBQ!!!!11!one!!!!" Arguing with a point that was never made is a waste of time and energy, especially when neither side of the comments on this page has succeeded in providing a solid point.

Chill out, and shut up if you have no idea what you're talking about. Christians, tell me where in the Bible it says "Shove the Lord your God in people's face." Goodness, it's just a cool clip. Don't make life any less fun to live.

Yep!! I saw it all the time in Texas near Wichita Falls. In the spring and summer it was a fantastic show but it did a lot of damage.

Why do they ignore science?

The tornado did form in the sky but you just couldn't see it until it had sucked some dirt up into itself. The normal tornados that you see reaching down to the ground have lots of moisture in them so it's basically a funnel "cloud". This one I guess they were too close to see the moisture directly but the wind is definitley there. You can see the top part of the funnel "fill out" with dirt... the spiral of air was already there and spinning you just couldn't see it.

of course its a tornado and of course it originates in the sky.....its just picking up the dirt from the ground.....if there was no dirt tornadoes would be clear..

Tornados DO come form the sky, but you can't see anything until it is either full of moisture or debris. What you are seeing is a tornado starting to vacuum up debris. It did in fact come down to the ground. It is NOT a dirt devil which is based on wholly different principles.

But they are really just spinning air. Spinning air looks just like, well, air. It is often only when the tornado touches the ground, and the debris RISES from the ground that you actually SEE the tornado - SEEMINGLY coming UP from the ground.

If you look closely, you can se the funnel up in the sky.. When she is filming up, and you hear them say "do you se the funnel" (or something like that). It's way up, you just cant se where the cloud funnel connects with the ground funnel..

I hate to reply to this, a good 2 months late, but saying that shows how powerful Allah is is just completely ignorant, and I won't accept it. There are other god's other than your mate Allah and this tornado doesn't show how powerful he is. At all. It shows that nature is a bitch, and that's it. I could go into the science about how tornados are formed, but there's little point. But it's far too complicated for some fictional story book character to create. No offense, I just don't like religion. I'm not singling out Islam or you, if this was a christian saying God had created that, I would've said the same. It's nature and science, not a god.

i apologise for my inacracy in the formation of a tornado i mixed it up with a hurricane but i stand by my false status on this video the wind can throw cars and trucks with ease and give of percipitation i see no disturbed ground or no mostture on the lens but it still is a good video to watch
