if this is an electric car then why do you need to plug it in ........ think about it you are just changing one problem for another yes you are taking fossil fuel out of the car but you still use fossil fuel to recharge the batteries at a recharge station right .....so now you burn 5 to 10 time MORE fossil fuel the scales are not in balance any more......so how can you call this a better solution......but thats what we do as a human race....we can distroy things but don't know how to fix things!!!!!!

To answer your question, the recharge stations are run on lightning, more than enough to power cars until the next storm. The problem is: can you drive in the rain?
