The evolution of computer commercials starting in the 80's!
most of the computers I used to work on and repair !
I didnt see the Honeywell PDP-111 though that I first started out on (4k core memory and Octal command set).
Apples were the best to work on, simple to fix, awsome operating system and top notch support, never had any DOA parts so every visit was a fix. I wont mention Packard Bell as I am still reeling from my days as a Mastercare engineer {shudder}
It's funny how Mac has resorted to putting out commercials cutting up Windows....sure sign of trouble. They also have been releasing commercials trying to appeal to younger people. Another sure sign they are in trouble. If Macs were perfect and better....tell me. Would most people own PC's operating Windows? Would most programmers write for Windows? You know the answer.
By Mindl74 1185430894 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemovePeople own PC's with Windows because of past advertising and creations. Recently Mac has been making a major technological comeback and it's only a matter of time until they take their place near the top. Personally I own a PC, but that is because so much older software runs better with it. Once Mac gets a bit more universal and can use PC hardware and software, PC's advantages will be out the window and Mac will take the lead
By Krazie243 1185496336 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveTechnology is not the point that Mac fails.
It is the fact that Apple have a closed system.
If Apple opens up and let any company make computers for them like PCs, than they might have a chance.
But the fact is, Apple is the only one making Macs.
but the one question i'd ask a mac user how do u upgrade your video card?, u don't u buy a new mac, lol
