St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney Eric Manion (John Dye) is honored with the "Man of the Year" award by Bob Harris (Greg Germann) as TV Reporter Don Deetz (Jason Wiles) covers the story.

Manion takes pride in the fact that he made the names of the customers of prostitutes public and one of those customers was a good friend of Don Deetz. The friend committed suicide rather than face the public humiliation and Deetz holds Manion responsible. It's clear that these two are destined to battle, but no one could ever guess what lay in store for them both.

  • John Dye is Great!

    John Dye is a Great actor and was so beloved on Touched by an Angel, that it is Wonderful to see him in a role that is somewhat surprisingly rude and contrary to his other role.

    I know of a stroy from when John was in the TBaA show and he was sitting in a plane and a couple saw it was him and didn't want to be on a flight with the angel of death, so they got off and took a later flight! LOL! :)

  • spotting the villain

    this scene is obviously a training ground for us to recognise who is the villain here ;)

    And just like real life issues black and white immersed in a whole lot of grey.
