This vehicle is burning and thier is a firefighter trying to control it. But then it goes off in a burst of flame but the firefighter doen't even flinch and stays on his job.
When any metals, such as magnesium and aluminium alloys, burn they do so at a very high temperature. When water (H2O) is sprayed onto this burning material, the hydrogen and oxygen molecules split...hydrogen is an explosive gas and oxygen feeds the fire...hence the explosion. I hope jv190 has now learned something more than just "magnesium"!
By Firefly007 1200484250and only 5 posts? why would all of the sudden magnesium go up for just a second?
