This button that you can add to your browser will let you download and save Youtube and Metacafe videos with a single click. No need to cut and paste links. Its a one click save. It even automatically names the video. There is a number of savers around but this is the best I have tried.

Anyhow, when I launch Metacafe, I don't use Firefox, I just click on the icon on my desktop.
