How to escape a simple wrist grab. Video1 in a series. Simple and effective techniques that even kids can use to defend against a would-be attacker / abductor. This is only one of many techniques and is not implied to be effective 100% of the time. Continued training and practice is needed for anyone to be effective in self defense regardless of age.

  • Kick

The kick adds a distraction to the attacker, loosing his grip a bit, enough for the child to hopefully pull his wrist out.

  • Father's point of view

I gotta say, from a father's point of view, I would rather my kids know some moves like this if someone tries something stupid with them. Even school bullies these days are getting bad.
Keep up the good work man!

    • Flaws Vs. Reality

I'm not sure it is accurate to say the system is "flawed" after only seeing one video that outlines a very basice technique. You are right that there is always the "what if" possibilites that could prevent a child escaping an abductor.
My intent is to show basic techniques, and encourage the interest in training and self defense. It is obvious that a child or adult with even a small amount of training would have increased odds of escape over someone that is untrained and unprepared.
