EVERY 2 MINUTES....that's how long it will be before another life has been taken due to a drunk driver.

Vehicular homicide due to alcohol comsumption is the leading cause of death for motorists.

Let's face it people....drunk driving is no accident.

Case in point...don't drink and drive.

If you do drink...THINK!!! Call a cab, take the bus and train or walk if you have to...just don't drink and drive.

Someone's life is counting on it.

      I have lost friends to drink-driving, and know how incredibly sad, unnescesary and unfair this feels.

      Don't be fukkin daft - dont drink and drive!
      Its THAT simple!

      And remember - YOU could be next!
      Or your girlfriend.
      Or your sister.
      Or your mum.
      Or your dad.
      Or your entire family!

      Maybe spending 0.5% of your salary on a taxi home don't sound so bad now when you compare it to the 21 years in prison, or the loss of a loved one looks a bit closer to home...

    It destroys the lives of the family who lost someone, it also destroys the life of the drunk who killed someone. Imagine losing your child trying to cross a road on a school crossing to a bum drunk. DONT DRINK AND DRIVE

    A life every 2 minutes in the US would be 262,800 deaths a year. Dallas (my town) and it's immediate suburbs represent about 3.6 million people, or about 1:100 of the US population. That would calculate to about 2,682 drunk driving deaths per year in Dallas, or about 7.3 deaths per day, every day. Sounds a little high to me given the fact that drunk driving deaths always, always make the evening news around here.

    live in the UK. I drive a left hand drive wagon every day in the UK... I dont expect to get in an accident. I have driven right hand drive coaches abroad and never had an accident so WTF has being right hand drive got to do with being smashed up in the USA? Oketa

    HELL OUT OF ME, TO KNOW THAT DRUNK DRIVING HAPPENS EVERY DAY, MAYBE NOT IN AS HIGH A NUMBER AS A FEW YEARS BACK-BUT THEIR STILL OUT THERE, OPERATING A TWO TON+ WEAPON OF INJURY, SORROW, AND SOMETIMES DEATH!!
