Hi guys... Yeah, of course this works... It's the same principle we use with our polishing brushes... If you get grossed out by charcoal or cigarrette ashes, you can use a better option: Tortilla Chips... You burn those tortilla chips until they turn black, grind them up (You only need a teaspoon or so) and then mix it with lemon juice... You put the black paste on your toothbrush and brush your teeth for about 2 minutes... Be careful not to brush too hard, or you will actually grind your gums, leaving them sensistive for a day or two... If you do it carefully and about once a month, you will need no visits to my clinic for polishing/cleaning etc... Try it!

Lemon juice is an acid and can harm your teeth. You may end up with a LOT of cavities and irreparably damaged tooth enamel. The reason that lemon juice "works" is that it causes the teeth to lose calcium (which gives teeth some of their off-white color). Calcium is a major component of healthy teeth, and once it is lost, your teeth become very susceptible to decay. DO NOT use lemon juice for whitening.6118680 - rofl

Lemon juice IS dangerous, but it also is good because it burns off the yellowing of the teeth, brushing after is IMPORTANT because it gives back SOME of the available calcium to repair the enamel you just removed

Don't brush your teeth straight away or else you will brush the softened enamel away. The acid softens the enamel. Wait an hour until the enamel has hardened again. Same goes for brushing after drinking fizzy drinks.

2. More important question. Where did you by clean/ untreated charcoal? Charcoal today is usually treated with some kind of chemical to help it ignite easier.
