these guys are actually BOW fishing. Thats when theres a fishing reel and line attached to a bow and arrow and u shoot the fish with a Large arrow with fishing line tied to it and reel it in. It supposedly combines the best of hunting and fishing. But as an avid fisherman I dont really agree it takes a lot of the sport out of it I think.

Yep, still around. I'm addicted to your's and MoonCat's clips! GOTTA HAVE 'EM, MAN!!! GI' ME, GI'ME...I NEED! I NEED! AAAHAHAHA! :o) The new version does have a few quirks. Every clip I have submitted has been rejected, some for no reason. Just "Rejected". (sounds like my love life!) (insert appropriate violin music). I can't "first post" on any clip. I have to wait till someone else posts and I can't read the last few lines when I scroll down on some of them. But, I'm pretty easy going and I enjoy the clips and reading the comments and keep trying to submit. (That Swanie's a card! She's pretty funny, for a Canadian. HA. Don't tell her I said that.) I'm glad that you're still around and submitting great clips! Keep 'em comin'.

While I, myself, do not bowfish, I can appreciate the skill it takes to do it successfully. If you are familiar with shooting a bow, you'll understand how difficult it is to hold steady on the target. Add to that the refraction from the water-surface, and the chances of hitting the target decrease dramatically. And THEN, reeling in a fish that large without actually having any leverage as that you get from a rod. It's challenging, to say the least.
