The first election the american people has no excuse for electing Mr. Bush. But there was a little confusion with the pole in Florida which could have made the election go eighter way. Why and how is still debateable today. The second election was not the american people fault. It was against Kerry and Bush but Kerry dropped out of the race declaring Bush president. So both time bush won on a defualt. Was it a accident or something else? You decide. He topples the Taliban and Saddam governments by force (without realistic planning about what to do afterwards) and alienates all America's friends in the process! Domestically he turns a huge trade surplus into a massive deficeit-not a great move. And now that it looks like Iraq is decesending into civil war what does Bush do? He realises there won't be reliable oil coming out of Iraq after all and states that the US should reduce its dependency on oil. From Britain I can see that the American people deserve better from their politicians and I wonder why many Americans can't see that as well. Made me think for a sec!-however there is no way you can have 10 ancestors (unless there was a bit of incest along the way!) You have 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great grandparents, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 etc. Multiple any of these numbers by 0.3 and you won't get a whole number. Checkmate? I think so :-)

0.3 = (no of French ancestors) / (total no of ancestors)
0.3 * (total no of ancestors) = (no of French ancestors)

Therefore put 0.3 * 2 into a calculator (ie for parents) and keep doubling for grandparents, great grandparents etc. If at any time you get a whole number (which you won't) then that will mean you can get 0.3 or 30%! Err, hope that makes sense! Funny how a random comment has snowballed somewhat!
