      Grass increases drag, faster to slow down this huge r/c plane! Plus, less damage if any parts hit the grass than hitting the hard runway.

    As far as I know those things dont have brakes, so it would be using the surface to create friction and slow down. The grass has more friction than the nearby concrete. Cool model.
