Awesome Wings!! =D
**********
The very first time I heard this song I was entranced. A friend of mine in Arizona, North America, had sent me the music for a video game series that at the time--I had not ever played: Devil May Cry. In each of the soundtracks I was intrigued--but then again was reminded of the "minor" fact that this was a game released and contributed by Capcom a company which still rests close to my heart to this day. =) From the memories rendered by Street Fighter and the adventures with the "Blue Bomber" and SHMUP-style in "1944" and the unique characters and traces of fine memories found in Darkstalkers, Capcom vs. SNK, and COUNTLESS other games and grand memories before--I knew upon hearing the music for DMC1-3 that I wanted to play at least one. However... at the time I created this stepchart I had not.

Upon uploading this stepchart, decided to name it "Devil May Cry TaQ" because the music sounded something like a song TaQ (composer for Dance Dance Revolution! Songs) would make reminding me of songs like "Holic" and "DXY" and later "Stoic." However... this was not from TaQ I later learned and after I learned of the three composers who were responsible for the music in Devil May Cry 2, I gave proper credit to Tetsuya Shibata, Masato Kouda, and Satoshi Ise. =3 This is one of few songs from a video game or otherwise that I may listen to time-and-time again without "getting tired of it." Hope You enjoy! =D

Steps of The Players! =)

After completing this stepchart and uploading it to Bemanistyle --it garnered quite a bit of attention. =o I was surprised by the height of passion and exceptionally positive response given. Also pleased. =) The original version of this stepchart gave credit to "Capcom" for the music, had only 3 levels of play (Light, Standard, Heavy) and had a completely different background from the one present in "Version 2." The background was courtesy of an amazing editor and CG Artist by the name of Skinkyosis (hope I'm spelling that right! Sorry if not =) Many thanks Skink! =D) At the time I used only "MS Paint" for making stepchart backgrounds for Stepmania but Skinkyosis was well versed in Photoshop in November 2004!
(When this stepchart was redone and re-released =3)

After a few thousand downloads, this version still remained highly rated and recommended by the Bemanistyle community at the time and to this day is one of my more memorable simfiles (to me ^_^). Ironically, about two months after making this version of "Wings of The Guardian" and someone telling me, 'Awesome stepchart! Really good steps and all but man! You really gotta play the game if you're going to make stepcharts for an awesome game like this!' My younger brother happened to get a new Playstation 2 at a bargained price and Video Warehouse happened to have a copy of Devil May Cry 3 for rent, and I happened to beat it! xD It was fun too! =3 Surely hope you enjoy this stepchart! =D

Be certain to turn assist tick on! (^.~) [especially if playing on keyboard! =3]
The stepchart is much more fun when you can "hear the steps" because the flow of this stepchart's choreography kind of follows the rhythm of its own drums and bass! xD Enjoy-deh-Boogie!
