      She could be a part of the group, it just depends how she handles herself and how the men perceive her. Since I don't speak Japanese I don't know what's really happening. She did play along when she put her head on her hand like a model. Then the bastard holding the stocking stretched her gums and her nose too far. That's the only explicitly antisocial thing I can see and it's not necessarilty sexist. I do agree though, after seeing a lot of Japanese film, that the women exhibit a cultural submissiveness. Full blooded Japanese women in the States don't act that way so it's not a genetic disposition.
