Instead of burning the hydrogen make it ...
when you burn hydrogen in air there is not enough oxygen avaliable for complete combustion so all you get are flames. To make hydrogen explode you need 1 oxygen for every 2 Hydrogen atoms and guess what water is H2o (2 hydrogens and 1 oxygen). This means that if you collect both gasses in the same container and light it, it will explode. Just be carefull though and wear ear protection because if done right is extremely loud.

  I've considered doing that, and will experiment some day - but not in my basement with a hand-held thin plastic bottle. If you try it out, be sure to report. For good measure, having more O2 than the equation suggests would be a good idea.

  use a large apple juice can (looks like a oversized soup can) and put 2 holes in the bottom (not too big) and one on the top. set up a electrolysis rig and put the hose with hydrogen in one of the holes in the bottom and just wait a while so that the can is PURE hydrogen take hose out light the top and wait (you hear hissing noise for a while then POP) you just made water lol

nice video, but you didnt mention how chlorine (a very poisenous gas) is generated along with the oxygen and hydrogen. The chlorine comes from the salt and will eventually corrode the copper wires =)

They use this is water fueled cards. if you do this to your car it should work. but its much more complicated

Thats chlorine idiot
If u use brine as the electrolyte, you'll end up with Chlorine gas where the oxygen is supposed to form, hydrogen and Sodium Hydroxide, dissolved in the water. (2 NaCl + 2 H2O → Cl2 + H2 + 2 NaOH) Correct me if I'm wrong.
