Rudy, played by veteran character actor Conrad Bachmann ("The West Wing" and "Tremors"), gives Diane practical advice on how to handle her husband's business schemes. Her mother Helen, played by Patty McCormack (Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee for "The Bad Seed" and a regular on "The Sopranos"), questions Diane about her fear of how things could be if she would only dare to dream.

  • Good scene!

    I like how it starts out with it's the best Idea I've ever had and she thinks it's the worst idea he's ever had. It's hard as a couple with a baby on the way to gamble all of your life's savings on a risky endeavor and nice to see both sides of the coin discussed with her parents. Then the ending of this scene is kinda creepy! :)

    if we are all in a process of becoming. And if that process change its focus to accomodate disbelief, negativity, aren't we selling ourselves short?

    Of course its recognising the truth of our process that is the tricky thing. But shouldn't there be signs along the way saying-- yes right path!
