Hollywood legend Cary Grant NEVER gave a press, TV or radio interview throughout the course of his 50-year career. But on a very few occasions in the mid-1980s, Grant elegantly and hilariously allowed himself to be interviewed by his adoring fans in the live, one-man stage show, "An Evening with Cary Grant."
During this performance, Grant recalls his life, career, leading ladies ("My father always said, if you can't say anything nice about Mae West, don't say anything at all"), favorite directors, most hilarious stories, and answers virtually every question his audience asked....up to and including those about his experimental and very controversial use of LSD in the early 1960s.
This recording was only recently found buried in a damp storage locker, where it had been for more than 25 years, so the sound isn't perfect. But only one audio record of these historic performances exist...and this is it!
