    I just wish the referee would show a card to the stupid idiot rolling around faking it on the floor.
    They're just cheats, nothing more than that.
    Most of these footballers are around 6 ft and very fit and muscular, yet the slightest tap and they're crying and rolling around all over the bloody pitch.

    • American sports are the same

      Lost of basketball players are taught the same ... you could get a personal foul at the other side, then you get 2 shots or ball turn-over to your side .... antics like that can make or break a game.

      In football, unless they get a good look at the replay, can sometimes have a play nullified and a whole game could be changed for one decision. There might even be a legitimate foul, but the refs may not notice unless you make a big production out of it.

      And the refs are aware of the theatrics ... so they know that sometimes they just have to act as if it was real and judge accordingly.

      I'm just saying that this happens in all the sports, not just soccer.

      Ask any American Football fan and they will come up with recall of playing field theatrics, trying to get the attention of the ref, who may just ignore them.

      And it gets really comical when you realize that 250 to 300 lb guys will play with broken fingers, twisted ankles and wrenched shoulders ... yet, when a receiver is blocked by a defender from getting a long pass, they fall and act like the opposing player kicked them in the shins or some such problem.

      All sports have them. Some are funny, some are serious. Most are a joke. You learn to take the good with the bad and you try to be fair to all.

    were the funniest. I wonder how it is possible that specially South European and South American players are doing this quite often. If I would be a referee, I would all give them at least a yellow card, better even a red one if I think they're cheating. Some people think it's part of the game; I think it's a very childish way to get an advantage.

    man, those injuries come in many ways:
    1. it takes you 5 seconds later to fall after someone "kicked" you
    2. your face hurts when your crotch gets hit
    3. the pain heals so quick that one second you're down hugging your leg, next second you're up kicking the ball
    4. you get slapped flying by invisible hands (see the last one)

    and that second last one is just priceless, never get tired watching it
