    How Cute it is that the baby had a part in making the decision! :) It always seems to be the way of things...technology is always coming up with the next wave of the latest "It" product to buy or own and which one to sink your hard earned cash is always a hard decision, especially when you have 2 very similar products. I think the latest wave of today is Blue-Ray vs. HD, etc. Sad to think that such an exciting new technology such as video tapes are going to the wayside along with 8-track tapes and records...pretty soon cds will be gone as who needs those when everything is digital these days. :(

  • circumscribed potential not revealed

    would really have liked to have seen the process of getting to this point. Wanted to sharpen my interpretation of the characteristics of these characters through that process.

    Here, the decision of what kind of tape to rent appeals to my sense of drama. What doesn't appeal is, unfortunately, the lack of "circumscirbed potential" being made manifest through process.

    I mean of course- we didn't see how the resources given to our characters played out to get to this point.
