Portland Oregon:
A rally for Impeachment on Day 14 (8-2-07)turns shady when a few protester's are told not to sit along a flower planter wall in the shade. When asked why they couldn't sit there but others could, they were told that they were a "protest group" and the building security doesn't want 'them' sitting there. Problem is this is the building where our Representative, Earl Blumenauer office is and the citizens sitting in the shade were not being unruly or doing anything to warrant having police called for just sitting there. Why treat citizens who want honest government and accountability like they are the criminals?

It reflects poorly on the building securities attitude and ultimately our Representative is indirectly allowing this to go on to his constituents. Now we have all this crap escalating and the police are now getting more involved because ......(mostly elderly folks) wanted to rest in a shady spot under a tree.
