If you mix a liger with a household cat, you can actually get a cat that would chase the mice at my house. My cat is a chicken.

span I'd guess. Excessively large breeds of animals - even the giant cats - would likely live significantly shorter lives, due to a size inneficiency. Their energy demsnda would be huge, as would the stress on their joints having to carry such a body mass. Indeed a beautiful cat (I am a cat lover), but you see the same unfortunate short lives in the giant dog breeds as well. Great Dane's, St. Bernards, Malamutes, Rottweilers - all live relatively short lives, ranging between an average of 7 to 12 years. Granted a liger should likely live longer than that, but I suggest its lifespan might be 50% that of eitehr parent.
