We set out 27 fishing noodles and by the time we set the last one out we had 3 fish already pulling the noodle under the water.

- I guess I'm clueless here but
  what is a fishing noodle? Set lines with bait and a float? Isn't that illegal on some lakes/rivers/ponds?

- Not illegal where I fish.
  Not illegal at all ,but it is better to use at night when there is lest boat traffic to worry about.
