i remember seeing them a couple of years back at the last one we had, my adreline couldnt get into my system fast enough just watching them. the funniest thing i remember though wasnt them but our civil service embarrsing themselves by not knowing how to put out a simply chip pan fire so wat would they have done if one of these bad boys came down!!LOL!!

  several years flying in fast jets and to be amongst the best the RAF have. as to proof they are the best i am unaware of any red arrow crashes

UK Royal Air Force.
Yes this is the UK Royal Air Force.
The aircraft are MK 1, Hawks built by BAE systems (British Aerospace).
One of the best teams round!

  They are Hawk T.Mk1a's mate there isn't a Mk8 dunno where you heard that, there are Mk50 and 60 variants but they are export versions, then there is the t-45 version which the americans use. Then there is the odd looking Hawk 200 which seems to be a single seat light fighter variant, we don't have any serving in our airforce so it maybe an export plane aimed at countries with a low budget. if anyone can enlighten me please let me know.

based in raf scampton Lincolshire
they are approx 10 miles from me and can very often be seen practising before their show season start. awesome
the only trouble is they seem to like flying along the fairways of my local golf club great at first, but they do tend to annoy you a little in the end,
but by far the best in the world, as any so called yank top gun will admit
