(S.E.P) Make Bubbles That DONT Go Up-Or Down... They Just HOVER In MID AIR Untill They POP ! Cool Experiment Thats Easy To Do And Uses Only A Couple Of Household Items.... (A Shooting Eggs Production)
YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY SCIENCE TEACHER AT SCHOOL,I MIGHT HAVE STAYED AWAKE DURING LESSONS A LOT MORE THAN I DID
By MENTAL.VART 1186512447doing it in a well ventilated area, as the butane smells horrible!
By LorD SyN DracuL 1204663386do the same thing with a reaction of baking soda and vinegar, carbon dioxide is produced. This way, you don't have to waste that precious fluid :-).
By blahbloblah 1202947370I don't know if you've noticed but... Bubbles have always levitated...!!xD 5*
By -Noob Killer- 1192764333the temperature of the air in bowl is much low ( gas is frozzen ) temperature in bubble is more hot !
hot air up cold air down ! this is the real explaining ! ( my opinion ) sorry for my english !
You can do the same thing with vinegar and baking soda in the kitchen sink to produce the CO2
By mathewsjspam 1191589490great idea, I am now thinking how to blow up a dish in my new videos :)
By bobicko 1191096009It could be likely too bits of that stuff reach the bubbles, changing their density
By laos101 1190933159i believe you can also do this with dry ice and lasts longer and you dont need to be careful not to blow the house down...
By Tony2z2 1188605642u spark the lighter above it!!
that would've been cool
You can do the same thing with dry ice. But anyone can do this one. Nice work!
By Kipkay 1186527329yeah... shooting eggs dude whatever ur name is... i think ur kipkay. just my opinon and it is sorta odd ur both signed up on the same day. not saying anything is wrong with it because ur... ur... FREAKIN AWSOME!!!
By VexMutz 1203836096Loading bowl with gas easy, straight out of the can. Aiming bubbles into bowl, like juggling jelly. Gave up
By Jaxon5 1186526418The explanation isn´t completely true: "Float in mid-air, this is because the gas is heavier than air causing the bubbles to float on an invisible layer."
If was only this, the bubbles don't go down (floating above gas) but will be free to go up!
Beside heavier lighter's gas, the lower temperature of lighter's gas is also responsible for this effect making air inside the bubbles cooler than air above.
Cooler bubles tend to go down but the air inside bubbles is lighter than the heavier gas below! There are two phisics interaction here responsible for this phenomenon.
Bubbles blown by mouth are heavier than just air, but not by much. Three factors make them heavier: Number one the liquid of the bubble is chiefly water, much denser than air. Number two the air blown in is slightly denser due to CO2 in the exhaled air. Number three and practically negligible the air pressure is fractionally higher than the outside air. When people think they see reqular bubbles float in air they really aren't it is just air turbulence keeping them up.
By subduc z 1193637956there is an easier way to get this same effect , by farting in an ice bath.
