please share your way to save the stuff amidst a tornado....If you have done it let us all know.

where were or how were these idiots as you refer to going to save their stuff? Re-direct it by waving it on?
What a cement head!

As I was running into my basement with my daughter in my arms I looked out my front door and saw the biggest "F"ing funnel cloud I have ever seen heading directly at my house. My windows rattled, my roof shuttered, and I hide under my pool table holding my little girl, fearing for her life.
When something like this happens you don't have time to think about your stuff, the only warning I had was when the table flow off the back porch. I read in the news the next day it had been a F4 and killed 8 people, and destroyed homes for 13miles. My house sits low and have hills on both sides so all I got was micro burst from it, but when you go out side to see swrell marks in your grass in your front and back yard you count your blessings. Just thought i'd share.

Just a word of advise, should you have to seek shelter again. DO NOT hide UNDER anything! that pool table could have smashed you flat. The best place to get in next to an interior wall where 2 walls intersect. a small room like a closet in the middle of the house is best.

Would try to outrun a tornado. You guess the direction wrong and you and the car you are in go for a wild ride you probably won't survive.

That was a SMALL tornado. An F3,F4 or F5 could be as much as a mile wide - hard to run from.

IF you see a tornado THAT big coming and you don't have a basement, not only should you be in an interior bathroom, but you should all put belts on with each belt looped through anothers with the biggest and strongest person belted to some plumbing. An F3-F5 will tear you right out of a house, and with an F4 or F5 often the only thing left is the plumbing sticking out of the ground on slab foundations. People have survived that way in the past (albeit pretty banged up from the debris)

Texas, Oklahoma... Good luck! I live in Iowa, which is supposed to be a part of Tornado Alley. Oh, sure, we get tornados, but I've never seen one.

I agree with you. However, would you at least spell correctly? It's spelled: Atheists. Also, if you're talking about the "god" of the Christians, it's with a capital "g": God.
