...this is a basic version of a chemical glow stick, hydrogen peroxide is a very stron oxidizer, i did a class demo using this method, works very well but only for about 5mins then it gets dim, nice idea about the tomato tho, looks really cool 5 stars.....

How much bleach should be added? Also how much should you inject into the tomatoe

I tried this and got nothing glowing at all. Could I have used too much bleach? Could I have the wrong matches? Or is this some stupid hoax like the dude that made the Mountain Dew bottle glow? C'mon admit it, you put the contents of an orange glowstick in that damn tomato didn't you????

I know bleach is a ink remover or so, but being a brazilian I have no clue of what is the chemical component in it.
Knowing the active priciple I could try to buy it in Brazil.

I got board one day and tried it for the hell of it, its total crap I don't know how he edited the video to make it look like he really made it glow using match heads clorox and Hydrogen peroxide but its a scam.. try it if you don't really have any thing better to do.

But it seems to me that if you mix three toxic compounds like sulfur, bleach, and peroxide that you would get something even more dangerous. I would wear a respirator and some heavy rubber gloves. Shootingeggs is going to have a tumor the size of a melon before too long.
