    of how many tons of tnt it is, think of why the atomic bomb is so deadly. 1. it releases radiation and kills for over 40 years 2. wind can speed up how far it spreads thus killing more people.

    Duh, that has to be THE dumbest thing anyone has ever said. I mean come on. They didnt aim for the atomic bomb to be less deadly they wanted to prove who had the balls for the next century to come.

    Also, no one wants to waste time dropping 21000 tons of tnt over 210 airplanes, when you can carry a deadlier lighter bomb in 1 plane.

    Hopefully you people dont become heads of the military in the next 10 years.

      then they didn't have a plane large enough to carry such a big payload. Also, The 21 tons of TNT PLUS the metal would have been over 30 tons of dead weight! Howard Hughes couldn't even build a plane big enough for that.
      But as I first stated, your idea is worthy, simply because the radiation last for many years, and travels many thousands of miles from the blast site.
