but in my own personal opinion, it's hard to beat German engineering and style. After all, most of us will never drive 120mph. (or whatever) on some back road, but the syle and comfort can always be appreciated, even within the speed limits.

Having been a professional racer for many years, i absolutely agree. There are great road courses and drag strips all across the country which can be used by the public most days for a small fee - the road course i prefer to race at only charges 20$

The idiot in the video can't drive. A new 2006 Z06 Corvette was test driven by Jan Mangussen at the Nuremburg Circuit and the only PRODUCTION car that was faster was a Porsche Carerra GT ($450k). Why waste money on a Ferrari or Lambo when you can out -accelerate and out-handle them with a Corvette that costs 4x less?

Corvette, Beamer or Porche.....it was due to bad driving. Corvette's like all sports cars do quite well on the slalom course, but can smoke the competition in poor gas milage.

having been in the buisness for years, namely in the buisness of racing very expensive pieces of technology at 330 miles an hour down a straight track, corvettes, especially the C-6 series is an excellent road course vehicle. It out performs most european cars hands down. It is only a hair behind the ford super car and that is only by a hair. It will take any BMW or porsche, period - including twinturbo 911857541 - 1
