A knife throwing is a part of the Wave System of Combat, a knife combat in particular, and based on the same principals of “waves” as the whole system. In itself the wave throwing is a fascinating sport exercise, developing physical and psychological abilities: coordination, suppleness, plasticity, concentration, self-control. The wave throwing is much distinguishes from a wide known classic knife throwing. As far as in this method a specific wave principle is used it exercises basically by thighs and hands work. This lets to throw a knife completely without any harm to a thrower shoulder (injury of shoulder joints are quite common problem for a classic throwing) and when an arm is wounded. The throwing executes without rotation of a knife (no revolution at all, point-first) with a handle grip, and with half rotation with a blade grip. A penetration (piercing) power is very great. The wave technique of a throwing does not require calculating knife rotations for every distance. From any range to a target a knife sticks either making a half rotation or without rotation at all, striking point-first everything that comes on its flight trajectory. With a half rotation a knife may be thrown at any range up to 15 – 20 meters. Without rotation any target is striking in a radius of 10 meters, also when a thrower or target or both are moving. This throwing technique allows sticking any knife or any oblong item which has physic characteristics letting it a similar flight, regardless of a shape, a mass, a balancing without a measurement of target ranging.
