This is a simple puzzle which no one has been able to solve so far. I Hope you do !!

    Assuming they had exactly the same meal and should have paid the same amount (unlikely with a bill of $25.00) each *should* have paid $8.33 (and 1/3 cent).

    Instead they paid $10.00 and were refunded $1.00 which is $9.00 each.
    The tolal they paid was $27.00 ($2.00 more than they owed).

    Each paid an additional $.067 (and 2./3 cent).
    The total additional payment of $2.00 was pocketed by the waiter.

    $25.00 for the meals plus $2.00 overpayment is $27.00.
    $27.00 plus their refunded $3.00 is the total of $30.00 they originally paid.

  • I Hate to spoil ur puzzle but i resolved...

    the puzzle has a trick
    they paid 27 $ minus the 2 $ with the waiter brcomes 25 as the bill stated.
    i other words the cashier has 25 , the waiter had 2 & the ladies had 3 equals 30.
    i hope any one understand.. although I doubt it

    I just want to know where the tip is...if the waiter had 2 dollars, then the women needed to tip another 2.50 to get a minimum 15% tip, but preferably a 20% tip of 6 dollars. Sorry just me, a bartender/waiter.
