    Yes, capacitors do hurt, even in a cheesy little disposable camera with a flash. What will make it more effective is to put metal terminals on the bare wires and use it like normal. Even I have played a game of hot capacitor, but I made sure that I wore lineman's rubber gloves. Try grabbong a charged capacitor with your bare hands. After the first time, you will never do it again

    man, one time I was camping with my friend, and we had a cheap disposable camera. I started to take it apart, because we didn't us it anyways, and it shocked the hell out of my palm, and now I know why. lol

    The caps in the camera charge to about 120 volts. It may only be a few hundred microfarads but it only takes 5 milliamps across your heart to stop it.
