I had some CD's that I had left in a cheap Visor holder and the vinyl had of the Visor had gotten so hot that it melted the surface of the CD. but I was able to fix it with a Skip Dr. Only issue I had with it was that I had to put a couple of layers of paper between the CD holder and the CD so that the Abrasive Wheel would get the outer edge of the CD but that was an early model and that may be fixed now.
By Black1969transam 11877017761. Skip Dr. is more expensive
2. Who wants to watch a video of someone using a Skip Dr.?
up to how deep scratches does this fix repair? and does wax (or residue or whatever) affect the innards of your CD/DVD player? I wanna try it coz i got a lot of scratched up cds that i liked yet couldnt play anymore
By shogrran 1192365451i tried the banana S**t and then this and it stil doesnt work. its a cd-rw nd quite scratched but not any deep scratches. SO annoyin i fully need the songs on it
By hrv69 1191218538Thats a nice idea but one of my cds actually cracked when i was using it so its hopeless for me
By Curecreator 1215714625Don't know if this work or not but I'll sure try it next time I rent a DVD. I can't believe it every time i go there to rent a movie. Even if the DVD was releised a couple of days before, there are scratches, fingerprints, and other unindentified mathers glued to it. I have around 300 DVDs at home and same amount of CDs and none of them have a single scratch on it (or fingerprint). People ! Learn how to handle your disks. And don't blame the children. If you can teach a child how to use the poty, you can teach them how to handle a DVD.
By MusicalBox 1200293245A while ago I rented my first dvd without a scratch of any sort. It was the day after releasing you don't mess with the Zohan.
