    If they are on the same local network, (ie - a school network) all you would have to do is
    shutdown -i
    It will bring up a little box with things you can change to make it shutdown restart w/e. Also a timer and a message to appear when it is shuttingdown. or you can do the tried and true way of
    shutdown \<COMPUTERNAME> /t:10 "Haha" /y /c

      you would have to enter this into the command prompt (it may be blocked by your school/work (my school has blocked this)).
      You can open command prompt by searching for it... (pointless)
      Or by going start then run then typing
      "cmd"

    that can really annoy people if you put that icon on the "startup" section of the start menu, everytime the user starts there pc it will shutdown straight away, i wouldnt have a 10 timer either, for anyone who has done this and wants to remove it, hit f8 as windows is about to start and start in safe mode, that will allow you to delete this from the startup routine.
