That made me dizzy
I gotta say, when I was younger I thought it would be cool to be a race car driver.

But seeing this, I have to be honest... I can't even THINK that fast, much less steer that fast. I think they must have their brains hard coded for that kind of reaction time. Either that or I'm reaaally getting old.

  210km/h is only 120mph. He certainly reaches this, bearing in mind its powered by an M3 engine with a close ratio box. (count the gears, he uses 5-6) Nearly all road cars (even my mums!) could hit 100km/h on this road. What do you drive a tractor?

- They do more than study the tracks
  On most tracks, drivers memorize every gear shift, not just the corners. As well, drivers usually walk through the entire track memorizing bumps and dips to avoid.
  
  For the making of John Frankenheimer's 1960s movie "Grand Prix", they had an ex-F1 driver on an *oval* performing all 2000 gear shifts - that's shifts *per* lap - for the Monaco track so they could record the sound. All done from memory.
