Into The West (With Gollum)

- This was originaly meant for an contest, but i couldnt upload it on youtube so I made an other film. -

I have made an interpretation of the soundtrack ‘Into The West’ from the film ‘The Lord of the Rings’. I’ve used Gollum (Smeagol) to visualize the song because in my opinion he’s one of the most interesting characters in the film. He’s a whole story on his own, a unique piece of the film. His constant obsession with the one ring, his good and dark side merged in one person. Gollum lives forwards with cruelness, pain, disput, blame and cheating untill his peaceful death with the ring.Then backwards he remembers his victory over himself, good moments, joy, hope... And so he dies happy being together with the ring.
Film made for the QFC Video Contest from CJP.
The assignment was to make a video from max 2 minutes with an own interpretation of one of the next titles from the Quality Film Collection:

I’ve made the film with my own style, so you can see some hidden sense of humor back in the film.
