I'll take it that youre an older man, and that you were born with driving experience and wisdom so when you went to school there was nothing techers could tech you,,, not to the point,, I feel the same about those immature drivers although I myself put a muffler on my first car at the age of 17, had a loud music system and e-braked on the snow,,,, few years forward - I look back and laugh, they will grow out of it, and don't hate them just because you didn't have a muffler on a car because your parents wouldn't allow you too,, peace

I personally love rally, and while I'm nowhere near professional, drifting on curvy dirt roads is my favorite thing in the world. I've done some fairly impressive things in dirt, but this drift is particularly spectacular.

By the way, as much as I agree with your comment, I wish you'd be a little less angry about it.

I just find it fascinating how many kids in my area lower their car, ditch the muffler to make their car loud, put a big honkin wing on the back....all on their Ford Probe or their Saturn. Or how many young guys fresh at 16 getting their license and their first car looking at ways to get noticed driving their car rather than spending a few years REALLY learning how to drive. I know they think they are cool, but I would venture a guess that NO ONE gets a date with a hot chick because of how loud their car is. No self-respecting woman looks at a teenage guy with maybe 75 hairs sticking out of his face in no particular order and says "wow! I love how he leans his seat back!"

Here's a clue teenyboppers: A probe is a probe and a saturn is a saturn no matter what youve done to it. AND the value of the car still decreases no matter what you have done to it. It's a depreciating asset. Instead, get a car to get you from point A to B, and invest the extra money in a Roth IRA. Here's why: If you win a race with your Saturn, all you have is bragging rights. (Look how much money I blew on a depreciating asset!). However, if you invest your money like a responsible person, you will retire a millionaire.

This isnt rocket science. There is no positive future in investing 30 grand in a car that you spend 2 grand on.

Want some cheese with your whine? By the way I am 23 and have a dodge truck and a nissan 200sx. I have an IRA. I am a journyman electrician. And I understand todays evolving culture. Do you whine to everyone about wearing pants too low? Your H3 shows that you like to show off your finances. I think that is tacky.
