    usening lower gears as reducening speed, ok , it's normal ...
    and appying brake at the same time, it's logical

    but WTF , is that move to press gas at the same time for shifting to lower gear ? ? ? You don't want your rpm go higher, as u shift down in real life !

    so ... maybe it works in your nice virtual race, but do not try that in real life !

      He is doing the same as all real race car drivers and getting in the right gear before he is exiting the corner.Giving a rev is required so the gear will change easier(race gearboxes different,harder to change gear),and also reving during gearchange uses up any excess fuel that is unburnt. I wish when people comment, they actually have some idea what the hell they are talking about!
