I've browsed through some of the comments and can't believe how mentally screwed up some people are.

Some of you are obviously from other countries and have beliefs far different from other countries. Nothing is gonna change people's minds for hating the US, UN, or whoever.

The primary fact overlooked here is Iran is developing nuclear weapons. What other purpose is there to have nukes other than for war. This "the us has them, why can't we," is complete and utter nonsense. We're not going around threatening the world with them. We don't hang them over countries heads. Point blank, don't give the US a reason to invade Iran and they won't. But Iran seems defiant in opposing the US.

I saw some slacker post a comment saying the US is getting slaughtered by Iraqis. I just got done doing 2 tours over in Iraq, I can assure you its not he US who is getting slaughtered over there. People who believe otherwise probably also believe we're not in control of baghdad still. lmao. And point in fact, the people of iraq welcomed the liberation. I know of a few soldier who helped an Iraqi farmer get his equipment working again and he was very grateful.

It seems sad to see both sides of the story. Its sad for Iran to hide behind a religion that supposed preaches peace and love. Last time I checked the use of nuclear weapons to destroy other humans in the Quran was never actually approved of by Muhammad. The fact that Iran wants nuclear facilities was never the issue. The fact the country has religious zealots leading is a threat. Yes, America has weapons but considering that we have never since then suggest (or should) that the consequences of our actions were learned. If I remember correctly we rebuilt Japan after WW2. Does Iran actually think they can beat America one on one. Do they not realize we took the 2 countries down next to Iran in less than a couple of months. Last time I checked America isn't going into war mobilization.

if it's ONLY going to happen in response to other countries bombing their facilities, it seems quite reasonable to counterattack since the bombing of iranian facilities will either be during a war, or if war isn't declared, as a warcrime.

If you think about it... if USA can respond to suicide bombings by attacking middle eastern countries, why can't middle eastern countries respond to american bombings with suicide bombings, it seems like the exact same thing.

I don't think iranians should carry out attacks on other countries, but I don't think other countries should bomb iran just for having a nuclear powerstation programme that could theoretically be a cover for nuclear weapons.

The smartest thing the current US government has done, is to launch a campaign against the dependancy the US has on oil and oil products. This is a lesson learned from the Japanese, after WW2 they vowed to ensure their society was educated and advanced in technology, now they are a technological leader. The reason why Americans cant be a suicide bomber is that they dont have the guts to do it. Those bombers can do something americans could never do, and that is SACRIFICE. A soldier who is to go on the battlefield to fight sacrifices himself. But to go into suicide is the most sacrifice you could ever give your country.
