Shorter Arrows
All that needs to be done for shorter arrows is to put a .75" copper tube in the holes of the 2" pipe, that way you can pull a shorter arrow and it will remain aligned

- Hi...
  You can use shorter arrows, but they won't pack as much power. Reason is because the arrow's point can't go past the first hole in the pipe. So if you use a shorter arrow, you won't be able to pull the arrow as far back, and therefore you will get less power.

  It would definately be great to spear fish with. However, I have yet to be successful, as it's really tough! But yeah, the arrow glides through the water with enough power to easily spear a fish ;)

Question
Any way you could measure the amount of pressure the sling speargun uses? I was thinking of modifying it to use in a LARP by putting a tennisball on the end instead of a point, but I wanna make sure it's safe enough to try before I go to all the trouble.

You know what would be a good idea?
Fix a fork on the end, so it will hold fish better and you could use it for frog gigging too.
