It is truly amazing how with the crime that this man just commited that he will get off without so much as a parking ticket! In a prior scene, the prosecutor almost looks sorry that his hands are tied and wants to help Mike when he first learns of the threats, now that they were taken out, he looks repugnant and defiant. John is an excellent actor and it is nice to see Michael and him come to heads over this issue! Excellently done by all people! That knife used in the prior scene is both beautiful and terrifying and the shot of it glistening in the sun was an excellent touch to add to the story!

Having seen the film and then reviewing this scene, it is great to see how things take a complete 360 degree turn- and how in real life in fact, for this story is true, how the tables can in fact turn around so that things work out for the good all of all who deserve it- and for the detriment of those who don't.
