    This is a tradition in Cebu,Philippines where coconut leaves are woven in many shapes to make containers for rice to be cooked. This is just one of the many shapes of the rice "baskets". This make cooked rice very easy to bring outdoors - picnic , beach or the park.

    its not Origami at all actually... if THAT was origami, so are balloon animals... in fact, its not an origami if you don't use paper to start with...
