HOTB-Movie-43 Bob Harris Makes an Offer

Mike Howard is played by Matt Letscher who studied acting at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with award-winning actor Jeff Daniels. Matt co-starred in the Universal Pictures - Amblin Entertainment production of "The Mask of Zorro" which was distributed by Sony Pictures and Columbia Tristar. "Zorro" starred Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, and Catherine Zeta-Jones who is married to movie star producer Michael Douglas.

Mike Howard is a former IBM hardware and software computer engineer that opened the first VHS video rental business in St. Louis, Missouri. Mike is accused by a religious church group of being an atheist and renting obscene videos. The group blackmails a corrupt Prosecuting Attorney and a bogus criminal complaint brings Mike to trial.

Mike's friend, Bob Harris, is played by Greg Germann who starred in the Fox TV show "Ally McBeal" with Portia de Rossi (girlfriend of Ellen Degeneres), Calista Flockhart (married to Indiana Jones himself - Harrison Ford) Jane Krakowski and Peter MacNicol. The Emmy winning show was written by David E. Kelley who is married to Michelle Pfeiffer.

Bob Harris used to be a real estate, mortgage, and investment banker agent before Mike helped him open his own blockbuster type video store. Bob comforts his buddy and then suggests a way to keep Mike from going financially bankrupt.
