I tried, but if I turn on the tor thing in firefox, it won't let me connect, and when I connect, I get redirected to that website at starbucks and I can't get passed trough it....Any Idea what I'm doing wrong???

Hi, This doesn't work at starbucks at my place. it just won't connect all the way, thanks for trying to help. maybe you can show exactly what to do when we are at starbucks and when we are on their site the one with the atm page where we have to login. Thanks though

a lot of people say this doesnt work. I will post a way that is 100% successful but it is a little harder to do!

You can setup the proxy manually and it can sometimes works better. Either way, it works fine at the Starbucks near my house.

If it doesn't work, what you need to do is manually setup a proxy and go to a website with lists. Search proxy list on Google and choose the first website. Its a little harder to manually set it up and i find Tor runs faster. If that doesn't work, i have no idea. Sorry.

you connected to the internet through some proxy server provided by TOR? actually you can do this without the software. all you need to do is
in IE or any IE shell browser--> internet options--> connections tab-->select the connection (usually wlan or something in this case)-->then settings-->check the proxy server checkbox and fill in with a free proxy server
you can find free proxy servers on the internet, they're tested daily. for web browsers look for the 8080 port ones
