  • Hadn't used my laptop for almost a year

    and it wasn't taking a charge till I did this Thanks It worked for me. PS If you know you won't be using your battery for a while store it with out a charge it's better for it.

      it does work however, only with lithium ion cells, its simple electrochemistry having to do with equalibrium. in simple terms, the reaction "memory" is reset.
      keep it dry and in zip lock and let stand to room temp......
